Common questions

How do players and parents join a team?

Joining is invite-only: a coach or admin sends an email-bound invite from the app (Settings → Invites). Parents tap the link, and their player is connected automatically.

How do tryout sign-ups work without the app?

Clubs share a link or QR code that opens a registration form in any browser — no app or account needed. Registered players appear instantly on the club's tryout roster.

Does the app work at fields with bad service?

Yes — GaffersHub is built local-first. Lineups, practice plans and tryout scoring all work offline and sync when you're back in coverage.

Who can see my child's development records?

Coaching staff on the team. A guardian sees an item only when a coach explicitly shares it. Nothing is public.

How do I delete my account?

In the app: Settings → Account → Delete Account. This removes your account and unlinks your personal data. See our privacy policy for details.
